Cradle of culture, seat of language, learning and civilization - this is Greece, or the Hellenic Republic. Greece can be said to be the most famous of all places: its food is familiar with popular dishes we all know; its music and dance are instantly recognised; and it gives the name to that most celebrated sporting event on earth, the Olympic Games. This is a country we should all visit as our cultural ‘homeland’. And even now, its long history is still being made.
