Samoa Hotels

This is an island located in South Pacific Ocean just below the equator. There are 10 islands each of them offering different and unique experiences. The rugged volcanic mountain peaks are covered with the rainforest vegetations. On these mountains, there are valleys that lead right down to the sparkling white sandy beaches and in these valleys, Bunyan trees that grow taller than the rainforest canopy are found amongst other tropical vegetation. There are different fresh spring water waterfalls in Samoa.

Some are very strong for swimming others are just perfect for enjoying some massage from the falling waters. The biggest falls are located in south coast in Opulu and most of these are waterfalls are close to each other. They include the Papapapai- Tai Falls, Togitogiga Waterfalls, (here you find a few swimming holes, changing room and a toilet) Sopoaga Falls-a perfect place for picnic and from here you can go hiking up to Fuipisia falls which is 56 metres high.

Another place of interest is Pulemelei Pyramid and it is the largest ancient structure in Polynesia. Aganoa Black sand beach is a nice place for swimming, snorkelling and picnicking. It is accessible via the road.

A 4WD vehicle would be the best. You can also get there in boat excursions, which are available from Maninoa village which is not far from this beach. Care should be taken while swimming as the currents can get very strong.
