The country of Vietnam is in the south east of Asia, approximately 5750 miles when flying from the United Kingdom to Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi. Countries that surround Vietnam are China, Cambodia and Laos. The Vietnamese culture is very similar to the south of China. The country has a population of 89 million and Ho Chi Minh is the largest city in the country. The main language spoken is Vietnamese.

The climate in Vietnam is quite diverse with extremely warm temperatures during the dry season in the south of the country and up in the north, frost and snow in the mountains. The majority of tourists tend to visit between July and August and between November and March. From May to September, it is usually much quieter.

It is a beautiful country with so much to see and do. It has an exquisite coastline and stunning mountain range, the rice fields are also an amazing sight. Many tourists will visit the capital, Hanoi which is a captivating city indeed.
