Arkansas Hotels United States

Arkansas is an American state situated centrally in the south of the country. Its capital city is Little Rock and a large portion of the state’s population lives here. Arkansas is dominated by rivers and vast expanses of natural landscape, such as the Buffalo National River, which runs through the Ozark Mountains. Its trails are popular with horse riders and hikers. Near the town of Murfreesboro lies the Crater of Diamonds State Park.

This has a museum about diamond mining and a water playground for children. At an amphitheatre in Eureka Springs, a local theatre group perform The Great Passion Play, which is a play about the last seven days of the life of Jesus. The town also has a glass chapel called Thorncrown Chapel, which is an outstanding example of modern architecture.

In the state capital of Little Rock, you will find Hot Springs National Park, which is renowned for its many bath houses and health spas. Another large natural area is that of the Ozark Mountains. It offers outdoors people many hiking and horse riding opportunities and its many gorges give breath-taking panoramic views of the area.

Arkansas has many hotels to choose from, and the two-star Rodeway Inn Swiss Holiday Resort in Eureka Springs has a lot to offer, including free parking, free breakfast, swimming facilities, and it also welcomes pets. It offers large rooms that are decorated in a contemporary style and there is a regular shuttle bus service into the town centre. In Little Rock, The Capital Hotel is by far the most popular place to stay.

It offers large rooms at a reasonable price and has facilities such as a gymnasium and a business centre. Its restaurant is renowned among locals as being outstanding and the hotel also offers a courtesy car service, so guests need not waste money on taxi fares. Arkansas in general has a buzzing nightlife and its wide choice of evening venues is impressive.

Opera and theatre houses are popular with locals and tourists alike, as are its bars, clubs, pubs and restaurants. The cities and large towns offer the widest choice of places to go.
