Epirus Hotels Greece

Epirus is a large area in north-western Greece. Its land is rugged and mountainous and as such it benefits from having an Alpine climate. It includes many small towns and villages, such as Igoumenitsa, which has a long stretch of sandy beach as well as ruined castles and other archaeological attractions. The town of Konitsa is renowned for having many health spas and it is a significant place of relaxation. It also has a large shopping area that includes high street shops, market stalls and traditional shops.

The town of Paramithia has a large manor house that is open to the public and displays costumes and furniture as well as giving visitors an idea of the living conditions of the past. The town also has important Christian sites of worship and Ancient Elea, which is an archaeological ruin. The town of Parga also has a beautiful beach as well as many caves to explore.

Here you will also find the Oracle of the Dead of Ephyra, which is an ancient burial site. This region has a host of hotels to choose from. The three-star Villa Andreas in Parga is a beautiful, typical Greek building and offers large well-kept rooms that are neutrally decorated but have little personal touches here and there that reflect the Greek owners.

The hotel has a large swimming pool and patio area where guests can grab a sun lounger and relax. The location of the hotel may be a little remote for some people but if you are hiring a car, the location is ideal as it is very peaceful. Dracos Aprtotel in Parga offers spacious rooms at unbelievably low prices.

The trade-off for the great prices is that the hotel is a fifteen minute walk outside of the town centre, but as the weather is balmy and bearable, some people may enjoy the walk. It is not completely isolated and there are a few general stores nearby for essential items. Nightlife in this area is plentiful with most bars and clubs staying open until 3 a.

Restaurants close a little earlier (at around 1 a.

), but there are many fast food places that are open later.
