Fukuoka-ken Hotels Japan

In 2010 Fukuoka-Ken was voted number 14 in a poll of the Worlds Most Liveable Cities. It is said to be the oldest city in Japan because it is situated nearest to China and Korea and renowned for its lush green areas amidst a metropolitan setting. Board Sky Dream Fukuoka, near Momochi Beach, one of the world’s largest ferris wheels for a spectacular view of the city and surroundings. Take a family to the Uminonakamichi Marine Park located on the northern side of the Bay of Hakata. Its amusement park, zoo, gardens, beaches and large marine aquarium offers fun activities indoors and outdoor.

Art works from renowned artists such including Mark Rothko and Salvador Dali are housed at Fukuoka Art Museum in Ohori Park. At Genko Historical Museum in East Park there are exhibits of Japanese and Mongolian arms and armour from the 13th century as well as historical paintings. Look out for the spectacular golden seal at City Museum exhibiting local historical artefacts.
