Goa Hotels India

Goa is a small state situated in the south-western area of India. Goa has a wealth of tourist attractions and places of interest. The town of Anjuna has many markets and a large sandy beach. It is renowned in the area for its excellent shopping facilities. The Bardez region contains a handful of small villages that all display interesting architecture, as well as having beaches, Christian sites of worship and monuments to visit.

The Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary has a vast area of woodland that contains animals in their natural habitat. It also has many beautiful waterfalls and a large bird sanctuary. The area of Old Goa is a World Heritage Site in itself, as it has a host of ancient buildings, tombs and ruins in its midst, as well as many Christian sites.

The city of Panaji has a large palace, an ancient cemetery and many museums and market squares to see. It also has a myriad of shops, restaurants and hotels and is an excellent base for sightseeing in the region. Ponda is a small town that displays Islamic and Hindu artefacts and places of worship.

It also has a large observation deck where it is possible to gain fantastic panoramic views of the town and surrounding area. The region has a diverse selection of hotels to choose from. The Casa Colvale in Bardez is very reasonably priced and has facilities such as free parking, swimming and a restaurant.

The hotel overlooks a gentle river and is famous for its well-equipped spa. Guests can even request boat trips to anywhere they would like to see as the hotel’s owner is a keen sailor. The Bougainvillea Guest House Goa, in Candolim is very popular with tourists.

It has an outdoor dining area, so guests can enjoy the peaceful side of India whilst eating well-prepared Indian cuisine at the hotel’s restaurant. The hotel staff are happy to help guests and will even arrange motorcycle hire, as well as advising guests on where is best to visit. The cities of Goa have a vibrant nightlife but the small towns are much quieter, although many hotels have their own bar.
