Hyogo-ken Hotels Japan

Hyogo is a large prefecture in Japan that consists of many different cities and Kobe is the capital. It is situated slightly south and to the east of Tokyo. The weather is generally hot and humid in the summer and cold and snowy during the winter. Most people that travel to Hyogo tend to go straight to the capital, Kobe, where they can take in some of the region’s history and enjoy a number of different activities. One of the most amazing events held here is the “Kobe Luminare” which is every year in December and lasts for two weeks.

This is when thousands of lights along one of the main streets are lit up every night as a sort of tribute to the victims of the Hanshin Earthquake. You will also want to visit Kikuseidai, which is a park and viewing point that is around 700 meters above sea level. It is also known as the “ten million dollar night view” because it overlooks the city and offers a spectacular view at night, in particular.

When you visit Kobe, Hyogo, you will find it most relaxing to stay at one of the top rated hotels, like; Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel, Hotel La Suite Kobe Harborland, and Maiko Villa Kobe.
