Jiangsu Sheng is a province on the east coast of China. There are a number of separate areas in the district and the most interesting for tourists are Nanjing, Suzhou and Zhenjiang. The major tourist centres in this region are the Yangtze River area, Lake Taihu and the Xuhuai Area. Nanjing offers a wide selection of historic sites such as Nanjing Confucius temple, Yangtze River Bridge, Purple Mountain and the Purple Mountain Observatory. Zhouzhuang is situated close to Suzhou and boasts impressive waterways and ancient bridges to rival Venice. Shuangqiao (twin Bridges) and Fuanqiao Bridge are the most popular bridges in this area.

Lake Taihu is the third biggest freshwater lake in the whole of China and is home to the world’s tallest Buddha statue. Wuxi is known as the Pearl of Lake Taihu and has a long history of about 3,000 years. There are many choices of hotels in this district that will suit a variety of budgets.
