Shizuoka-ken Hotels Japan
The prefecture Shizuoko is located along the southern coast of Japan on the Pacific Ocean. Many tourists visit the capital city, also called Shizuoko, each year to enjoy many of its indoor and outdoor attractions. The country itself has a deep bay in the central region, the Japanese Alps towards the west, and Mount Fuji to the east. With year round festivals and events and the the popular Izu Peninsula resort, you will find something to do all the time any time of the year. Religion in Japan is very closely connected to the culture and to really appreciate it you will want to visit one of the prefectures’ specially revered shrines.
The Kunozan Toshogu Shrine attracts many tourists - but do be prepared to climb quite a number of stairs to reach the shrine. The Shizuoko Prefectual Museum of Art is another site that tourists flock to. This museum exhibits the regions’ love of the arts and displays some of the most wonderful pieces of art.
When people visit Shizuoko Japan, the main form of accommodation is to stay at a hotel. Some of the most popular are the Hotel Century Shizuoko, Associa Shizuoka Terminal Hotel, and Hotel Quest Shimizu.
